Our two weeks of annual TWI Summit events have finished, and we couldn’t wait to share tasting notes and photos of some of the incredible wine moments experienced among our small groups of avid wine lovers and winemakers.
Last week, we were in Verbier, Switzerland, where we were joined by representatives from Château Rauzan-Ségla, Canon, Montrose, Clos Rougeard, Eisele Vineyard, Château Latour, and Château Margaux.
The week before found us in Val-d’Isère, France, where we hosted a series of wine dinners with Château Pavie, Troplong Mondot, Pontet-Canet, Cos d’Estournel, and Ducru-Beaucaillou.
By day, guests enjoyed incredible ski conditions, as well as paragliding, ice diving, helicopter tours, snowshoeing, spa days, hiking, and shopping.
The epic climax of our Verbier event was a BYOB night, where guests shared rare treasures from their cellars, including highlights such as 1964 Château Haut-Brion Blanc, 1961 Château Palmer, 1947 Château Lafite, and 1921 Château d’Yquem. I’ve included notes with this article of wines we don’t already have featured in our database, although many more bottles were enjoyed. Separate feature articles are in the pipeline about Château Margaux and Eisele Vineyard.
We are already discussing which wineries to host at next year’s Summit events. Anyone interested in attending next year can click on the below email and send us a note. We’ll make sure you receive an invitation as soon as the 2025 line-up is confirmed—it’s gonna be epic.
